Jeff Schroeter, Managing Director, Genova Power / EnEx Advisors, will be with the Dallas Electric Club to make the monthly presentation ; " What's Going on Behind the Meter " . Jeff will be discussing Data Centers and Industrial Loads that require their own generation resources due to size and schedule . Whether its AI or gas production, larger than traditional loads are on the horizon.

At Genova, Jeff leads development and project financing of gas fired units including the 550 MW Hobbs New Mexico combine cycle plant and the Osceola 500MW peaking plant. At EnEx, he is responsible for advising on cogeneration including development issues for INEOS and Power Purchase Agreements for Lyondell Basell. Prior to founding Genova in 2001, he was VP Merchant Plant Development at Panda in Dallas, where he developed 8,400 MW of combined cycle power plants now in operation. At Investor Owned Utilities he held positions in project development and was renewable energy manager developing one of Texas’ first wind farms. He began his career in operations, generation planning and project engineering. He is a past Chair of the ASME International Power Division and has served as President and Board Member of the Gulf Coast Power Association. He has served on the PowerGen conference program committee for 20 years and has completed post graduate work in business and project finance. He was named Dallas Engineer of the Year in 2007. He is a licensed professional engineer in several states and received his B.S. Mechanical Engineering from Texas A & M University.
