    Meet Club Presideny, Mark Vajdos, P.E., (Monticello Power)

    Mark brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the Electric Club as our Board President. As the owner of Monticello Power Consultants, Mark has built a distinguished career in the energy sector, providing expert guidance and strategic solutions to the industry. Holding a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license, he combines technical expertise with a deep commitment to innovation and professional development. Under his leadership, the club continues to foster connections, advance industry knowledge, and support the growth of energy professionals.

  • Meet Club VP Programs Ron Widup - (Shermco)

    Ron Widup has been a dedicated member of our club for 25 years, including serving as president. He brings over 41 years of experience at Shermco Industries, where he led as CEO for 36 years and now serves as Vice Chairman of the Board and Senior Advisor for Technical Services. Ron is a recognized expert in electrical power systems, safety, testing, and maintenance, with deep knowledge in areas such as electric motor and generator repair, switchgear, substations, protective relays, and industry standards including NERC, NETA, EASA, and PEARL. His leadership and expertise will be a valuable asset to our board.

    Meet Club VP Membership, David P. Ringhausen, P.E.

    David is a respected leader in the power industry, bringing over 40 years of experience to the Dallas Electric Club. A dedicated member since 1992, he has served in multiple roles within the club, contributing to its growth and success. Throughout his career, he worked for three major utilities, Union Electric, Texas Utlities, and Central and Southwest, In addition, he worked for  the Electric Power Research Institute, and General Electric (GE), where he spent 25 years before recently retiring. As a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.), David’s expertise and industry insights continue to be a valuable asset to our club and its members.

  • Meet Club Social Media Mgr-Seth Grenwelge - (Belcan Engineering) 

    Seth Grenwelge is a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience in the power industry. He began his career at GE Heavy Repairs, where he gained hands-on expertise and worked his way up to lead GE’s Non-OEM Parts business. Today, Seth serves as the Engineering Business Development Manager at Belcon Engineering, leveraging his industry knowledge and leadership to drive growth and innovation.

    In addition to his professional role, Seth is the Dallas Electric Club's Social Media Manager, helping to expand the club’s online presence and engagement.     William Hildeson is a dedicated industry professional and past president of the Dallas Electric Club. With over 15 years of experience at American Electric Power (AEP), William has built a strong foundation in the power sector. He now serves the State of Texas in the Air Permits Division of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), where he contributes his expertise to environmental and regulatory initiatives. His leadership and commitment to the industry continue to make a lasting impact on the club and its mission.

    Lissa King Magel is a renewable energy technology specialist dedicated to educating the public on energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives that drive cost savings and environmental benefits. A LEED Green Associate with a NABCEP Entry Level PV Certificate of Knowledge, she also holds a Graduate Certificate in Sustainability from SMU’s Environmental and Civil Engineering Department. With a background as a skilled materials scientist, Lissa has extensive experience in R&D, failure analysis, and process development within the technology sector. Her strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with a customer-focused approach and leadership in cross-functional teams, make her a valuable asset in the renewable energy, alternative energy, and cleantech industries.
