Introducing Our Newest Board Member – Megan Smith !

The Dallas Electric Club Board of Directors is pleased to announce the addition of Megan Smith  to the Board.

Megan has over 18 years of experience in electrical engineering, energy systems, and power infrastructure, with a strong track record in both private- and public-sector projects. She has led cross-market teams delivering complex initiatives involving renewable energy, EV charging infrastructure, and commercial electrical services. Her work has also included oil and gas facility design, CHP design for district energy systems, large-scale electrical distribution projects, substations, microgrids, and battery energy storage sites. As Vice President of Power at Pape-Dawson, Megan focuses on expanding client relationships, identifying new opportunities in the evolving energy and power sector, and helping shape the firm's long-term strategy for power infrastructure services. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Texas Tech University in 2007 and is a licensed P.E. in Texas and Colorado. She lives in Mansfield, TX, with her husband and three children.
