Addressing the Workforce Gap in Today's Robust Electrical Markets
The Texas State Technical College System is the only statewide public two-year college system in Texas, with 11 campuses dedicated to developing the skilled workforce that powers critical infrastructure across the state. As demand accelerates - especially in electrical infrastructure - employers face a growing gap between workforce needs and available talent. Join us on May 15, 2026 as Mike Reeser, Chancellor and CEO of Texas State Technical College provides an executive-level overview of how the System is addressing this gap through targeted college credentials and short-term, job-ready training programs. Attendees will gain insight into practical pathways to strenghten their workforce pipeline and, importantly, support long-term operational reliability.
Prior to joining TSTC in 2010, Mr. Reeser was the president of Compass Bank in Waco, Texas and also served for 15 years in various executive and management roles in banking in Houston, Texas. Mike earned his BS in Psychology in 1978 from Texas A&M University. In 2006, he earned his MBA from the University of Texas at Arlington.
Halff Engineering will be the sponsor for this meeting.
